To begin, EasyPDF™ digital forms adhere to the tried and true paid—perpetual software license model in use long before SaaS Cloud-based subscription software became the model of choice the majority of software vendors ascribe to today relying on Cloud-based servers for everyone to view/share information/data. In our honest opinion, SaaS IS Essentially a software rip-Off/ploy intended to defraud unsuspecting trustworthy software users who value total privacy, control, security, and 24/7 round-the-clock access to program apps/data rather than store/share private information/data up in the Cloud—some glorified server located outside the USA in China, Russia, India, or Pakistan—for everyone else on planet Earth to see. In reality, it appears the SaaS model was intentionally designed to be a Cash Cow for greedy money hungry software companies to extort money from unsuspecting customers for doing virtually nothing in return other than milk consumer bank accounts to pay in perpetuity making the software companies significant more money in the process. Seriously, do you believe for one minute, consumers as a whole would actually take the time to concoct such an elaborate scheme to keep paying software vendors to use their software. In all due respect, I think NOT! In fact, all one has to do is simply take some time to navigate the internet to read the plethora of glaring complaints received from unsatisfied SaaS customers regarding false ads/promotions—think Free software trials that require a credit card on-hold, really?—under performance, poor customer service, need to upload/store sensitive documents in the cloud that incidentally requires a full time internet connection and I believe you get the picture. In short, for many it's just not worth it! Moreover, let's not forget how quickly big corporations like MS and Adobe who were among the first to jump ship and forget about their prior/longtime loyal customers responsible for helping them amass a fortune over the years in purchasing paid—perpetual based software licenses before transitioning to SaaS Cloud-based software became a reality leaving past loyal customers up a creek without a paddle surrendering to recurring never-ending SaaS payments. All considered, you've got to be kidding me!

For those unfamiliar, a perpetual license to an EasyPDF™ digital form provides a licensed copy to use the form with all its features for a one time payment as long as the end user continues to use the form in strict compliance with our End User Licence Agreement (EULA). In keeping with the perpetual license software model of old, the only exception regarding the onetime payment over the life of the software product, in this case an EaspPDF™ form, would be if the digital form were to undergo a major overall/renovation of the form, an unlikely scenario for a digital form compared to a software program application such as MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, etc., in which event an end user would normally be required to purchase a perpetual license for the new software product. In contrast, a digital form regardless of format, isn't normally considered to be a full blown software program like MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, that are in essence program applications often used to create digital forms such as what we offer. As such, a perpetual license for a digital form would normally entitle the end user to receive free minor updates/changes characteristic of additional form features or minor tweaks designed to improve the use of the form for the remaining life thereof and as such not incur a fee. Hence, a perpetual license for an EasyPDF™ form will in all likelihood be the first and last perpetual license required for the EasyPDF™ form for which it was purchased.
